Hello!
Blogging is rather a strange concept. I am never quite sure what to say to an empty page, when there isn't a direct reason for my writing. I suppose this could account for my not posting for almost a month.
Over break I have been listening to more classical music, partially influenced by Mr. Choo who lives in a blog roughly over there-ish. My three favorite composers are probably Rachmaninoff, Elgar and Chopin so far, and at least the first two if not the second seem very accessible. Of course, I could just be biased towards how much I like them, but it also seems to be the result of Romanticism Correct me if I am wrong, (and I probably am) but the sheer expressiveness of the Romantic era seems very easy emotionally to tap into. It's one of things I wonder about with music, what are the virtues of accessibility in music?
Reading a biography by Beethoven, I am surprised at how long it took him to be recognized!
Calender page for the day: "1961. The Detroit Tiger's home field was officially named Tiger Stadium. However, the team no longer play at this legendary park, where baseball was played for more than 100 year. The Tiger moved to their new, modern Comerica Park Stadium after the 1999 Season."
And as of this writing it is "13 days 23 hr 24 min 3 sec" till Spring Training. Lester or Buchholz? That's the question, folks.

Well, I think your spread-out blogging is made up for in the wonderful thoughts you compose when you finally get around to it. :)
Maybe the answer to the question is Montesquieu!
